Apparently a one-off independent label - it looks too professional to be a DIY job. The single 'Shell Shocked' b/w 'Slipping Into Life' by Tontrix (the label says 'Ton Trx') seems to have been Townton's only release. It had a catalogue number of 1-TON, and it came out in January 1979. Tontrix featured future members of A Flock Of Seagulls and Dalek I Love You, as well as Hambi Haralambous, soon-to-be leader of Hambi & The Dance, so there was undoubtedly potential in there.
