A DIY label. Trendy was owned by The Trend, from Manchester; it issued just one single, their, 'Teenage Crush' b/w 'Cool Johnny' (T.R.E.N.D.-1; 1979). MCA were sufficiently impressed by the record to snap the band up, which presumably rendered the Trendy label surplus to requirements. An illustrated article can be found on the Bored Teenagers site.
