A DIY label from Scotland. In 1973 the Uddingston Baptist Church put out an EP called 'Simply Singing To God', which contained four songs sung by children from its Sunday School. There was no text on its labels but according to the picture sleeve the tracks on the record were 'Watch Your Eyes', 'Jacob's Ladder', 'Jesus Loves Me' and 'I've Got A Mansion'. There was no catalogue number as such, the run-off markings being merely 'USS Side 1' and 'USS Side 2'. The sides were distinguished by means of a coloured ring, that on the 'A' being red, that on the 'B' purple. Pressing was by Orlake. Sadly the Church seems to have made no more forays into the record market.
