WAX (1)

Something of an
obscurity. The first Wax label of the 1970s appears to have been a one-off
DIY effort, or perhaps a small independent. It was responsible for at
least one record, an EP by a Rock band called 'Asylum'. Tracks on the EP
were 'Destiny', 'Lazy Love' and 'Suzy's Back'. The catalogue number,
FR-2073, was one of a series used by custom recording company Fanfare Studios
(q.v.) of Swiss Cottage. As can be seen from the scan, which Nicholas
Hough has kindly supplied, the year of release was 1974 - the scan has been
doctored, of necessity, but is still reckoned to be pretty accurate.
Thanks to Stephen Small for bringing this Wax label to my attention.
